2011 SavageMan Triathlon Registration
Registration is open for the 2011 SavageMan Triathlon Festival to be held on September 17 and 18, 2011.

Just over 26 years ago, I was blessed w/ a very healthy 10lb. 10oz. (almost 5kg.) red haired boy. Little did I know what lay ahead in my life as I was still young myself? The years went by quickly as I chose to raise him on my own.
A special relationship formed from this and gets stronger as time passes on. Now after being in Australia for 1.5 years and not being w/him for almost 2 years, he would arrive at Brisbane airport in two days for 2 weeks w/the Old man.
What would we do?
First, we would get him back in the ocean and re-establish his Love for surfing. (He has been in Wisconsin the last couple of years).
Then maybe go to Sydney to see the sights, etc. However, winter was moving in so we would have to keep an eye on all that.
To make a long story short, we dived the Great Barrier Reef, hiked through beautiful rainforest, skipped Sydney (piss cold and rainy) and just hung out on the coast.
Oh yeah, we got in the pool and worked on his swim technique.
The next to last day he was here, we went surfing at Wategos beach, and got some great pics of our dolphin brothers showing us what life is all about.

Hi all, this will be the first at my attempt to blog-post on a regular basis for my website for all to read.
There are a good number of blogs out there in cyberspace which you can just about read anything about anybody.
The intent of this blog is not to post about my life (well maybe a bit), but to post about the athletes I work with, the area I live and work/train in, snippets of research, equipment reviews and general good ol’ fashion BS!
If anyone would like to have me write about anything in particular, please let me know and I will accommodate that.
Dalford England’s race today would see him crowned the USAT South East regional champion. The course description was a flat bike and flat run, but as we all know, that is how they lure you to the starting line. Dalford put a disk on his bike and with the hills and turns, he thought that decision may have slowed him a bit, but not by the looks of his 24mph average!! His run came off and he felt he never truly got a good rhythm, but he still smashed a fine 5th overall and 1st AG to become the Champion of the South Eastern Region!! SWEET
